Robert P. Schreiber, 91 of Homer, NY died October 20, 2022 at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center after an extended illness.

Born June 12, 1931 in Queens, NY. He was the son of the late Joseph and Una Purdie Schreiber. Having moved to the area in 1950 he had been employed with NYSEG for numerous years as well as he had been involved with his wife's ceramic business.

Robert had enjoyed traveling both to hunt and fish but especially to various national shooting contest as well as Cowboy shoots. He belonged to local clubs where he placed at national levels.

He is survived by his children, Martin Schreiber of Cortland, Joseph (Angel) Schreiber of Florida, Kathie Poch and Lori Schreiber both of Dryden, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren as well as a sister, Isabel Klerer. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Louise Helen Gray Schreiber.

As per his wishes there are no services, his family will have a celebration at a later date.
