Carol Ann DiAngelo, 76 of Locke New York died June 2, 2019 at her home.
Born November 29, 1942 in Malone New York she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Helen Berry Thayer.
Upon graduating from high school Carol attended beauty school and used her talents in so many venues . She had enjoyed working at various restaurants which included Barb’s Diner, Yea Old Village restaurant, and The Unicorn just to mention a few . In her later years and more recently she was involved with cottage industries, where she used her talents to create Carol’s Trinkets and Treasures. She enjoyed scratch off tickets, quilting, making candles and soaps, loved her animals and will be missed for her sharp wit and engaging smile.
She is survived by her children, Claude David (Vickie) Henline, Mark (JoAnn) Henline, adopted daughter, Laurie Wood, stepsons, Anthony, Christopher (Debbie) and Richard J. Di Angelo, grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, and Kyle and great grandchildren, Codee and Finnley. She is survived by her sister, Rosemary Corcoran several nieces and nephews as well as her special and dearest friend, Nancy Rotunda. Besides her parents , she was predeceased by her husband,,Richard Phillip Di Angelo, her daughter, Shelley Henline and her sister, Jeannie Machabee.
The Family will receive friends on Saturday, June 8, 2019, noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Zirbel funeral home, 115 Williams St., Groton, NY. Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. and committal services for Carol and her daughter Shelley who passed in December will be in Bird Cemetery, Locke NY.
