Cousin Elizabeth was a truly kind and sweet-natured woman. I remember attending her wedding when she was a beautiful 18-year-old bride. Elizabeth continued to visit my mother (her Auntie Bev) in Poughkeepsie at least once a year until Mom passed away in 2017. Often I would be there when the doorbell would ring and Mom would happily say, "Look who's here--Elizabeth! What a surprise!" It was a pleasure to visit with her, and sometimes she would bring a daughter or grandchild with her too. She worked hard and took a hopeful, upbeat approach to life. My sisters and I will miss her.

She will be greatly missed by those who lived next to her for the last 9 years. Betty was always smiling no matter how difficult her life was. She was making scarfs and hats and giving them away to her neighbors to wear and donated to people around.
Her home baked zucchini bread was best of the best. She would bake it for hours and then give it to people living next door. Everyone loved it, it was delisious.
Betty was a tenant every landlord could dream about: calm, respectful, and very polite. She never argued with anyone and tried to help those who needed help.
She was taken away from us too soon, and we will all muss her!

"My mom" All say I look just like her and I have been mistaken for her and I am Happy that she gave me this gift . It will be a lasting memory every time I look in the mirror I will see her. ☺ She was the most caring, sharing, and giving person . She will always be remembered for that . She will be missed by all that loved her and shared time with her. She would visit with me and my family every summer sometimes twice a year we had good times and also shared bad times throughout life. Don't we all ? No it was not a perfect family but my mother was always smiling and went on with life . She was a forgiving person as God wants from us all. We spent many hrs just talking on the phone almost every week . I Love You Mom ❤💔 And miss you already. 😞😢XOXOXOXO
